I had the wonderful opportunity to create some amazing dance portraits for Alexa in Chicago. We both had to get up early to create these but it was worth it!

We were also able to walk around the city and capture some images in other areas. Here’s an example of one of them:

I’ve been capturing moments in theater photography for over 20 years. Last year was a tough time for Showkids Invitational Theatre as was the case for many in the arts.

Their first weekend was supposed to be outdoors on a stage in the parking lot of Church of the Holy Spirit. Unfortunately mother nature had other plans with rain and unseasonable cold temperatures.

They were fortunate to be able to find an indoor venue that permitted them to perform!

The second weekend did take place outdoors on their rented stage. Above is a very small example of some of the images captured.
