Rylea, who’s a dancer at West Jersey Youth Ballet, needed an updated headshot for a summer dance intensive application.
I always like to create different looks for dancers and theater majors for their headshot. This not only gives them several to choose from, but helps to capture the true person.

Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania – New Jersey Sports Photographer
I created another set of senior banners for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Youth ice hockey league – this time for the girls 19U senior team! They were a great group to photograph.

They also wanted some ‘big heads’ for senior night. I had these created and sent to the team – all at just my cost.

I’ve known Jess for several years. She’s currently a senior at DelVal and needs an updated head shot for her resume and college auditions for musical theater.
Jessica is a talented actress that can play many roles. One of my favorites was when she played the character of Alice Beinecke at Delaware Valley High School production of ‘Addams Family the Musical.’ The scene she appeared in at the family dinner party was hysterical and very entertaining!

Max is a senior at DelVal High School and a talented actor. He’s been in several High School productions and plans to pursue acting in college. Max needed an updated head shot for a summer intensive he will be attending so he contacted me. Max is currently acting in SKIT’s production of Legally Blonde.
It may be the middle of winter but that didn’t stop Brayden for asking for some baseball portraits!
I call a sport themes portrait session ‘sportraits.’ I’ve photographed Brayden before with his family. I’ve also photographed his sister many times since she’s a dancer. Brayden’s mom wanted something just for him: baseball portraits
These were all done in my home studio. I also love creating sports portraits on site.

Celebrating Excellence: Creating Senior Banners for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Youth Ice Hockey 18A Team
As a professional photographer, I recently had the honor of creating senior banners for the 18A team of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Youth Ice Hockey league. This project was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements and dedication of these young athletes.
I created their team and individual portraits in the fall of 2024. From these portraits I created banners for the seniors that will be on display at the arena during their senior night
Are you an aspiring theater student? How about a business professional? Either way you need an updated head shot. I had the pleasure of updating Tyler’s head shot recently. Tyler is a theater major at DeSalles University. He will be appearing in their spring production of ‘Singing in the Rain.’

I’ve had the pleasure of working with the Hunterdon Hills Ballet organization for the past several years. Each year they produce a special version of the Nutcracker called the ‘Clinton Nutcracker.’ This of course is very appropriate since they are located near Clinton, New Jersey

In 2024 I had the opportunity to create show photography for their production. I photographed one of their tech rehearsals and two of their productions. I always prefer photographing tech rehearsals as I can control where I photograph more than shows.

Even though I’ve been photographing theater, dance and productions for over 30 years, one thing I learned this year is the importance of not over shooting. I was a little nervous as this was the first time I was photographing a Nutcracker, so I wanted to make sure I captured the moments. I certainly did that but put a lot of stress on storage, my camera and the amount of time needed to cull and edit the photographs. Next year I will curtail.

Capturing dance through photography is important. A dancer works months to achieve a level of excellence that deserves to be captured and preserved. While video also does that, the impact of a still image is stunning.
