Structure Fire

Stewartsville Volunteer Fire Company responding to a call for a structure fire in the township on Sunday night. radio reports of a candle and a tablecloth. The fire was out upon arriving to the scene.

What’s eerie about this call is there seems to always be a call before a parade – whether its in town or on mutual aide. Then the clean trucks have to be cleaned again before the parade Smile.

MVA Route 22 and Greenwich Street

While running errands this morning I passed by a motor vehicle accident that just happened. The red car crashed into the barrier. Also involved and not seen in this photo was another blue car (off to the right and temporarily parked in the median). No one appeared to be hurt which is good news as always.

Preventative Burn

POTD99-1

The Forest Service was performing a preventative burn in Pohatcong twp along I-78 near Oberly Rd. I first found out about this via a 911 report of a brush fire report from a motorist on I-78. By the time I got close enough to photograph, the smoke was not as impressive as when I was driving towards it.

Like Father Like Son

POTD91-13

While on a routine fire photography call today, at the end while they were cleaning up, I asked the chief to go help his son. They both turned around and gave me this quick family portrait.
