Frosty Good Friday
A cold start to Good Friday 2011. Overnight temperatures fell below freezing. There were frost advisories to the south of me around the Philadelphia metro area. The same were not posted around here as the growing season up here has not officially started yet.

Spring Blooming
Even though today is much cooler and windier than yesterday, one of my trees out front picked today to open up its blossoms. Pictures against the deep blue sky made for a nice picture in my opinion.

MVA with Fluid Leak
The Stewartsville Volunteer Fire Company respond to a call of a MVA with fluid leak. No one was hurt. This occurred on Greenwich Street just before Route 22.

Dickens Donation
Deborah Holzherr (R) from Dickens Lane Jewelers in Clinton, NJ presents a donated jewelry item to Sally Bird (L), Senior Warden at Church of the Holy Spirit. Deborah made the donation to the church’s upcoming Service Auction – their biggest fundraiser of the year. The jewelry item will be auctioned off at their auction.

Hairspray Poster
Today’s photo of the day is more like a collection of photos. In creating the publicity photos for SKIT’s upcoming Hairspray, the idea was tossed about to re-create the poster the show is famous for. So the result is the photo below. This is one of four as there are two casts and three Penny’s which resulted in four posters.
