Out local mall is famous for making piles of snow big enough to block out the sun. So here 9 days after the unusual October snowstorm, here is one of the larger piles. I included my car to show the scale.
I’ve seen this one from the highway last week and it was so high you wanted to plant a flag on the top!

Believe it or not there is still some snow on the ground from Saturday’s storm. In fact there are some folks that still do not have electricity!
I have several big photo projects on the horizon. I’ll be photographing a band festival this evening then a wedding on Saturday.

I guess this mornings weather is applicable given the winter we had this year. Already 1/2” on the ground and I’m sure we’ll get at least 1”. Thankfully the roads look OK.

When will the madness stop! 2.8” of additional snow overnight. Geez. I guess I put out the flag too soon!!

Today is the first full day of Spring and our reward is…. one inch of new snow! It was really coming down earlier this morning. Part of NJ north of me received 3.5”! Yikes!

This pile of snow and ice was large enough to not only block out the stores behind it but the trees as well. In fact it turned into a mini ski slope. OK maybe that didn’t happen but this is what’s left of the pile after several heavy spring rains and warmer temperatures.

A lot of folks thought the snow was over for winter. Me too. But within the last 24 hours we received another 2.5” of the white stuff.
What was nice about this snow fall is how it stuck to all the trees – very picturesque!

High temperature of 54 today! The warmer temperatures have left behind some strange green patches. I think its grass!
