I was asked to create another prop for SKIT’s upcoming performance of “Hairspray” using one of my pictures. They wanted a magazine cover of teen heart-throb Link Larkin. I did a little research and came up with this (the show takes place in 1962).

Today’s photo of the day is more like a collection of photos. In creating the publicity photos for SKIT’s upcoming Hairspray, the idea was tossed about to re-create the poster the show is famous for. So the result is the photo below. This is one of four as there are two casts and three Penny’s which resulted in four posters.

Ever since my daughter was picked to play Tracy Turnblad in SKIT’s upcoming Hairspray I wanted to do this picture. Not sure why but I did. Granted its not perfect but I enjoyed it anyhow!
