There’s something truly magical about watching a beloved classic come to life on stage—especially when it’s brought to life by the talented young performers of ShowKids Invitational Theatre (SKIT). I recently had the pleasure of photographing the publicity images for SKIT’s upcoming production of Mary Poppins, opening May 3, 2025, at the Voorhees High School auditorium.
From choreographed chimney sweeps to gravity-defying umbrellas, every moment of this shoot was filled with the same energy and joy that makes Mary Poppins such a timeless favorite. Capturing these theatrical characters in costume, in character, and in motion is one of my favorite parts of this work—especially when it’s with a company as passionate and polished as SKIT.
These publicity photographs are more than just promotional tools; they’re a visual preview of the story, style, and heart that audiences can expect when they walk into the theater. SKIT’s cast and crew have clearly poured their hearts into this production, and I’m thrilled to help showcase that through my lens.

As a professional photographer, I have the privilege of immortalizing moments that tell a story, and this week, I had the honor of working with the talented cast and crew of Voorhees High School Drama Club. Their upcoming production of the 10-time Tony Award-winning musical, Fiddler on the Roof, promises to be a spectacular showcase of talent, passion, and tradition.
Through my lens, I captured the essence of Tevye’s journey—a dairyman striving to uphold his Jewish traditions in a rapidly changing world. The cast’s dedication to bringing this timeless tale to life was evident in every pose, every expression, and every scene. From the heartfelt performances of Joaquin Arce as Tevye and Masen Chen as Golde to the vibrant ensemble, each photograph tells a story of commitment and creativity.
The production will run this weekend, with shows on April 10, 11, and 12 at 7 p.m., and a matinee on April 13 at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the door, so don’t miss the chance to witness this incredible performance. Adult tickets are $15, while student and senior citizen tickets are $12.
I invite you to join me in celebrating the hard work and artistry of these young performers. Let the magic of Fiddler on the Roof transport you to a world of tradition, love, and resilience.
As a professional photographer, I take pride in creating one-of-a-kind composites that capture the essence of a performance and preserve it as a cherished memory. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Emerson, who portrayed Paulette in Southern Lehigh High School’s production of Legally Blonde. Her vibrant energy and heartfelt performance inspired me to craft a composite that truly reflects her character’s charm and spirit.
These composites are more than just photographs—they’re keepsakes that celebrate the artistry and dedication of performers like Emerson. Whether you’re looking for a gift or a personal memento, these composites are available in various types and sizes to suit your needs.
If you’re interested in creating a unique keepsake for yourself or a loved one, feel free to reach out. Let’s turn your special moments into lasting memories!

I’ve been the photographer for the Freddy Awards at the State Theatre for the Arts for the past 12 years. This year will mark my 13th year. To mix things up a little last year, I captured the magic of the awards ceremony from backstage.
The first thing you notice backstage is how much quieter it is!
There’s also a lot going on and you have to pay attention to what’s going on or what’s about to go on, so you don’t get run over!

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the energy and dedication of the students. Each performer brought their unique flair to their roles, making my job an absolute delight. The vibrant costumes, designed by the talented costume crew, added layers of depth to the characters, and the elaborate sets transported everyone to the whimsical world of Edward Bloom’s tall tales.

One of my favorite scenes to capture was the circus, a kaleidoscope of colors and excitement. The actors’ expressions, the choreography, and the lighting created a visual feast that was both challenging and rewarding to photograph. Each shot aimed to convey the spectacle and the emotion that the scene demanded.

Another highlight was photographing the intimate moments between Edward and his son, Will. These scenes required a delicate touch to capture the nuanced performances and the emotional weight they carried. The actors’ ability to convey complex emotions through subtle gestures and expressions made these photos some of my most cherished.
I also had the opportunity to take behind-the-scenes shots, capturing candid moments of the cast and crew. These photos provide a glimpse into the hard work and camaraderie that goes into creating such a production. It’s in these moments that the true spirit of theater shines through—the laughter, the teamwork, and the shared love for the art form.
Delaware Valley High School’s Big Fish is a testament to the extraordinary talent and dedication of its students and faculty. It was an honor to document this journey and preserve these memories for everyone involved. I hope these photographs will not only serve as a memento of this production but also inspire future generations of performers and artists.
