This river portrait experience blends dance artistry with the natural textures of a river or shallow lake. Below is everything you need to know before your session — including parking, what to bring, wardrobe guidance, payment details, and what happens afterward.
📍 Location: Simon Silk Mill – Pedestrian Bridge Location
Simon Silk Mill – Parking Lot Near the Pedestrian Bridge Easton, PA
We will meet in the parking lot closest to the pedestrian bridge. From there, we’ll walk together to the river access point. The walk is short but may include gravel, uneven ground, and damp areas.

- Park in the Simon Silk Mill lot near the Google Maps pin provided.
- Parking is free.
- Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to gather your items and we’ll meet at the pedestrian bridge.
🎒 What to Bring
- Dance outfits that can get wet
- Bare feet are typical; pointe shoes may be used if we find a safe, flat spot
- Towels
- A full change of clothes for the drive home
- Slip‑on shoes for walking to/from the river
- A small bag to keep everything together
- Pose ideas are always appreciated!
👗 What to Wear
- Dancewear that fits securely and moves well when wet
- Leotards with optional skirts
- Colors that contrast with dark green backgrounds (the riverbank and foliage are deep green)
- Avoid busy patterns that distract from movement or lines
- Feel free to bring multiple outfit options — we can choose together on-site
💳 Payment
Ambassadors: Your session is covered under your ambassador program benefits.
Non‑Ambassadors: Payment is due before the session, or at the session if paying by cash or check. Accepted forms: cash, check, or electronic payment if arranged ahead of time.
📸 After the Session
- You’ll dry off and change into clean clothes before heading home
- There is no private place to change other than your cars. You can always use towels, etc.
- Your images will be processed and delivered according to the standard gallery timeline
- If you have specific creative requests (tones, mood, cropping), feel free to mention them — river sessions offer a lot of artistic flexibility
📝 Final Notes
- Safety is the priority — if water levels or conditions change, we may adjust the shooting spot
- Parents/guardians are welcome to accompany dancers to the river
- Behind the scenes photos and videos are welcome. I always appreciate you sharing them with me and tagging me on social media
- Bring a positive, adventurous mindset — these sessions are meant to be fun, expressive, and memorable.
